Facebook’s puts YouTube on toe



FreeCast's Rabbit TV Lite app has given Facebook users access to over 400 streaming video channels.

The app runs on Facebook. It brings free videos from different webs on the channels, exactly the same model that drove the acceptance and now dominance of YouTube in video industry.

Premium shows are not readily available to users for free. But there are plenty of free channels they can enjoy on the channels that are currently giving Google’s YouTube sleepless nights.  

With $10 per year, users can watch the premium Rabbit TV Plus where they can access fantastic videos.

With YouTube also planning to grant users permission to impose subscription charges, it won’t be a simple decision choosing from the two services in coming years.

To understand how important this is to the survival of Facebook, you need to look the potential in video for social media. The future of social is that of video. And as attention span reduces, videos become will continue to get more attention.
